I have been a financial advisor for 17 years and three years ago I started moving into accounting and tax preparation to add to my professional offerings. I have completed 3 sections of the CPA exam and sit for BEC in October.
I'm finding that being an accountant for medium sized businesses and having the expertise to install pension plans as a financial advisor go very well together.
Being an accountant is a lonely business and I'm trying to get up to speed on best practices and how people manage their businesses. I would love to find some discussions on that topic.
