New Legislation and Company Secretaries

Anyone know when the new Companies Act will come into force, and
whether it will remove the need for Company Secretaries (as I read
before) ?

Will Ltd require at least two parties still, i.e. two (or more)
Directors, if they don't have Secretaries any more ?

AIUI, the Coy Law Reform Act still has to go through Parliament. My guess
is 2006, earliest.

For small coys, that is the plan.
