No rebates available right now?

Hi folks,

I'm currently using Q2003 Premier and am looking at upgrading the 2005
Premier. I was just looking on Quicken's web page and searching here
and it appears they are not offering any upgrade rebates this year. Is
this correct?

I just went to intuitrebates.com and clicked on Quicken and it said
there were no rebates available right now on Quicken, but I see where
folks here were getting a $20 rebate a while back. Is this over now?

I Sam's has it for $65, but I was hoping to come out a little better
than that if I could. I don't want to do a TurboTax bundle deal
because I switched to TaxAct back when Intuit pulled the activiation
crap and really like their product better.

Thanks,

Gary

Did you receive a "sunset" letter from Intuit, or are they only going
to owners of Q2002 and earlier?

Nope...no sunset letter. I usually upgrade about every other year,
mainly because I use the tax planner pretty extensively and it gets out
of date enough after 2 years to warrant an update.

On a side note, I just downloaded the Money 2005 trial and converted.
I'm going to run both for a bit and see what I think before I buy
anything. I tried Money a couple years ago, but if I remember
correctly the tax planner was lacking. The tax planner in this version
seems to be similar to Q2003, but easier to use. The budgeting is WAY
more robust (which I had known from my previous experience).

Thanks,

Gary
