Office Accounting - System Accounts

The system required accounts like for Bank Charge and Cash Discounts taken
etc are a real pain to work with. You can't make them a subaccount or make
other subaccounts roll up to them. For example, I want Bank Charges to be a
subaccount and roll up to Expenses in the P&L. I don't want a separate line
in the P&L for Bank Charges. So how do you get around this?

The Chart of Accounts is merely a default set, you can delete or create new
accounts as you wish

Be more specific.

Where are you entering in the bank charges and where are you entering in the
discounts?

DL is correct.
