In the fall, I'll be starting my second year of my Bachelor's in Accounting at the University of Pittsburgh. Does anyone have general advice on how to get the most out of my educational years?

  • What should I be doing outside of class?
  • Any words of wisdom regarding internships?
  • What kind of things can I be doing now to improve my attractiveness to employers later?
  • Should I go directly back for a Master's or get into the field?
  • Are there any holes in a traditional education in accounting, and how can I fill them?
  • Do I need to work on specializing myself for a specific job, or get as broad an experience as possible?
