Online backup and account update both stopped working

Does anyone know of any issues that would cause both my online backup
and transaction downloads to stop working?

I haven't installed any new software or hardware. I'm stumped.

I'm running Quicken 2009 R6 and Windows XP. I've used Norton 360 for
quite a while with no problem; I tried disabling it to see if it would
make a difference, and it didn't.

Never mind. I figured out what the problem was. At least for now. ;-)

I never use IE; I'm a diehard Firefox person. So it never occurred to
me that I should delete history and cookies in IE 7. But it did the
trick!

I had also been having problems with security certificates -- I
couldn't uncheck the box in Tools | Internet Options | Advanced |
Security section that says "Check for server certificate revocation".
The emptying of cache and cookies seemed to solve this problem as
well.
