Online Banking (UK) & NatWest & OL-290-B

I've used Quicken since Quicken6 and upgraded every year. For me, OLB with
NatWest worked perfectly until Q2002 (25 Apr 2003, was last successful
download) since when I've been plagued with OL-290-B errors which are "Not
able to complete your request at this time ... Please try again later"

When I try downloading a QFX file, Quicken XG 2004 says "currency does not
match". I have also been trying Money2004 [OLB: great, VAT: terrible!] which
gave this exact same error, but it was easy to change its currency from
Pound to GBP; Quicken XG shows Pound greyed-out so it can't be changed.

Also in Quicken (since Apr 2003) in my NatWest account, the Overview tab /
Account Attributes / Transaction Download = Enabled. However, Change Online
Services shows "Transaction download is not available" so there's no button
to Disable OLB.

Does anyone have any useful pointers on these conflicts?

I've recently upgraded from Q98 to Q2002 and use online banking from Nat
West. Q98 used OFX format that had to be saved and then Q98 saw the
download. Initially on upgrading to 2002 it no longer worked. There is a
fix for the OFX file format for Q2002 on (try googling) that once done makes
Q2002 use a form of web connect, in that Q2002 itself will download the file
if you want. Hope this helps.
