part time work

I've just been offered a part time min wage job

Its going to be more than I get on JSA - but I was wondering as a single
man, is there any financial help?

I ask, as something my advisor said about a 100 pound payment, but I can't
find anything online.

if unemployed for over 6 months you get your rent paid for a month
providing the job is for 5 weeks and over. The £100 is from the DWP. You
have to fill the form that comes with your signing in book - tick the
box which says the job is for more than 5 weeks.

then head on down to your local music store

I've been out of work about 7 months.

So, if I tick the box, do I automatically get the 100 quid?

Don't need to - I a serial pirate. Just passed my 10,000th mp3 download.

you should get it but you may have to wait = apparently, you should get
your rent for a month, but the 100 is DWP

its the quality not the quantity! have you got zappas Shake your bootie?
Dancing Fool is a classic.

i tend to tape newer stuff from the library and get classic stuff from
the late 60's (any west coast band incl JA, The B's etc.)and 70's (roxy
music etc.) off ebay6music i listen to that a lot

Not sure how lucky I am with a part time job at min wage...
And, something I really don't want to do.

I normally don't tick the box for five weeks - generally I'll have a temp
job which wont last that long.

Yeah I agree - I don't have any Zapper. I have all sorts of stuff...
literally too many genres to mention.

I used to tape stuff from the library, latterly I'd copy the CD's - but
these days I only copy the DVD's.

Does your usenet server have binaries?

alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.classic-rock

One of my fav groups
6music i listen to that a lot
I've tried 6 Music, but I can't seem to get into it.

Would save me money if i could download them for free - i thought it was
illegal and they are cracking down on it?

Nah, its taken a few of years...

I've slowed down a bit recently.

I still find tracks I didn't even know I had!

No, that is just tracks.

Windows Media Player tells me its 777 hours worth of music.

Yes it is illegal, but then so is home taping.

Getting caught is the crime - if you are careful, and don't file share the
latest album or movie, your chance of getting caught is very low.

Also, there is no way I know for the music industry to track usenet
downloads.

Yeah good point.

if I like a track I tend to play it to death, something you can't do on the
radio.

I also find, the music I like isn't catered well by the radio.
