UK Payment of travel expenses?

I have a client who has paid an unemployed helper a small amount - under £100 - in travel expenses. How should I deal with this?

Sounds like a round sum... was it evidenced with receipts?

If their business wants to claim the deduction then they need evidence from the helper.
