Hi,

Wondering if anyone uses a PEO or if you have in the past? We are currently use one and I'm becoming more and more dissatisfied with them. Would like to look at other options and thought maybe someone on here might have a recommendation.

Thanks.

Why are you getting tired of them? Why were you using them? Who are you using? Have you used others before?

I have many questions because one of my clients wants to start using one.

For my 2 cents;

PEO's allow a company with few employees to join in to insurance plans that may cover hundreds of thousands of employees. So the med benefits are great as the PEO has a large employee base and can negotiate better deals.
The PEO is more expensive, however, versus just using a service that does payroll.
As a co-employer, the PEO staff is as responsible for employee relations issues (hire, fire, counsel, etc) as your own company. So they "get involved" with those issues. Plus you get an employee relations person assigned to you and you may or may not agree with that person. AND that person reports to the PEO and not you.
