USA Personal loan - need feedback please

Hello everyone,

My question: The boss I work for loaned $3000 to his son in 2011. The kid is supposed to pay it back in 2012 out of his payroll. How do I enter into Quickbooks the initial loan to the kid? The loan is 0%.

Any suggestions?
