Pre-tax Health Insurance Premiums

Health Insurance Premiums are listed on my W-2 at $4900. Since they
are paid with pre-tax money, I cannot use them as an itemized
deduction, correct? The tax prep agency is telling me differently, and
I do not want to end up owing the IRS!

Correct.

Ask them to show you when/where/why/how this can be true.

Thanks! I talked to them and during the course of our conversation
they also started telling me about deductions I can take for work
clothes and other stuff. They said I did not have to provide proof if
they keep it under a certain amount and they could promise me a $5000
refund if I came in. I think they may need to be reported to the IRS
(Dan's Accounting Service - Trotwood, OH). I think it's best I stick
with Turbo Tax online.

Anyone who promises anything, is trouble.

Promise.
