UK Private equity investment - accounting in NewCo?!

Hello,

The company I work for has recently been the subject on MBO, funded by some private equity investment and an ID facility. I have been asked to account for the transaction (net assets, goodwill etc) in NewCo.

I was wondering if anybody had a step by step guide or a proforma that could guide me through the process?
