Does anybody know of any RMS Add-On where you can Create a Purchase Order by
importing an item list from a CSV text file? We have a customer that gets an
excel spreadsheet from their supplier of all the items that they should be
receiving via UPS. The customer doesnt know before hand what they will be
receiving until they get the excel spreadsheet. Any Ideas?

I'm new to RMS, so forgive me if this info is slightly inaccurate, try it
out first.

If you create a blank P.O for adding item manually, on the screen where you
enter your items, right click, and import. Then you choose your CSV from
here. This must be in the correct order of:

Item Look up, Supplier Order number, Description, Qty to order, Price,
Extended, Tax rate.

I have used this to export to a CSV, and then re-import for an order where I
needed the same goods, but for 9 different stores.

Hope it helps.

Nothing happens when I right click in PO, on any screen. Have you checked?
Can you indeed do this?

Thanks Ken

Chris,

You must be using Outlook Express or some other type of newsgroup reader to
see and download the file attachment(s). If you are not using a reader, follow
the link below to setup Outlook Express. Click on "Open with newsreader"
under the MS Retail Management System on the right.

Andy,
We have a utility that will do exactly that (Store OP). It is in QA now,
expect to release in a few days.
