Q2004 "BAGENT.EXT" -- do I need that?

Hi...

I just installed Q2004H&B. Windows 98SE. I see in MSCONFIG an entry for
"Quicken Scheduled Updates -- BAGENT.EXE." Do I need that, or can I uncheck
it so it won't run at startup? What does that do?

Thanks.

It runs at startup, but at least on my WinXP Pro machine, it doesn't stay
resident. Go to Edit | Preferences | Customize Online Updates and click the
"Connection" tab. If you uncheck everything, Quicken won't go online unless
you tell it to. You can also delete the "Quicken Scheduled Updates"
shortcut from the Startup folder if you want to be rid of it for good.

Regards,

Margaret
