QB 2005 Premier

Tommy

Hello all, I'm a new user of SBA and I am getting the "Invalid File"
message when attempting to import data from QB 2005 Premier. I
reinstalled QB 2004 Premier and attempted the import from there but no
luck either. I had read that SBA will import QB 2004 data however it
didn't work with 2004 premier. Is there any fix or work around in our
near future?

Tommy,
A comment on importing from QB.
We imported our QB 2000 file to SBA. As the post states it worked for us in
single user mode only. Customer / Vendor address field information had to be
re-entered to format correctly.

Hello,

Transaction migration for QB 2005 was added to SBA in the update released
on September 7th. To download this update, go to the Spotlight section on
the main screen of SBA and click on Get new features. Download the free
update now...

Here is the direct link to download the update:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=93929CAC-37F3-4EE1-
931B-807703037E89&displaylang=en

Once this is downloaded you will also need to download the Transaction
Migration update. To install the additional Transaction Migration Update,
you must be at the main Microsoft Small Business Accounting screen. Click
Import data from QuickBooks, this will bring you to the Convert from
QuickBooks Wizard. In the All Data section, click the Small Business
Accounting update link. At the Transaction Migration Update site, click
Download the transaction migration update. You can click Run or Save, but
you may receive a Security Warning that you will have to click Run. This
will start the InstallShield Wizard for Microsoft Office Small Business
Accounting 2006 Transaction Migration Update. Click Next and then click
Install. As soon as the installation wizard is completed, click Finish.
