QB and Direct Deposit

QB Pro 2005. I want to do direct deposit with about 20 employees.

Is there a way to transfer data without using Quickbooks payroll service?
(99 cents a check, 3.00 a transaction)

Do I instead talk to the bank I want to transmit to? They don't seem to be
too knowledgeable. I figured I would get better advice in this forum. And if
I do need to contact this local bank, what kind of info do I need to gather
from them?

Thanks.

I understand ADP offers this service as do most other payroll processing firms.

Oh, you want a DIY way.

Talk to your bank. No really talk to your bank. You might be able to, but
more than likely they won't trust you to have ACH access. That tends to leave
you with wire transfer like $10.00/ea.

Hi. .
After some more research, I seem to be looking for a good 3rd party
developer for Quickbooks Pro 2005 direct deposit. I need to generate a ACH
file I can send to our bank.I would rather not use the one offered by
Intuit.

I'm sure someone must be doing this and has some suggestions?
Thanks much.

I would use paycycle with quickbooks to generate the direct deposit at
a very low cost. They have a trial. I have been using them since I was
tired of tax table updates. The servce is very smooth and easy to
import back into qbooks.
