QB non-profit record the grant

Hello,

I have a big problem.
We have received a grant/grant fund and we have to register it in our QB. But the problem is that we don't know how to record it. We are a non-profit institute, we receive grants and spend most of the grant money for the action. we don't buy or sell things. we just do some environmental activities based on the grant we have very less money left at the end of the action and I think it will be the revenue. can any one tell me how to record the received grant in the accounting software? set bank account as debit and fund balance/prepayment/net asset as credit????
