QB Pro 2001 backup fails

I've been using QB2001 for 2 or 3 years now. Suddenly, after I move
QB2001 to my new XP box, QB is failing to make backups. It seems to go
through the process, including removing the old backup, then reports
"Your data has NOT been backed up." No further explanation. Anyone got
any ideas? Art

1, Have you verified / rebuilt your data file since the failure started ?
That may be a good place to start. Verify the data file, and run a rebuild
on the file, regardless of the what the verify says.

2. Can you back up to other media ? If it fails to floppy, but succeeds to
the hard drive, that suggests bad media or a failed floppy drive. Try a
backup direct to your hard drive.
