qif exporting

I can't believe it but I am exporting transactions from
one file to a .qif file (loose) and then importing them
into a new file. The transactions with ~8 split lines are
not imported, are detected with an error (unexplained),
and prevents the import altogether. New and old files are
in M04.

Yup, if you have a split of 8 or more lines, then you can't re-import it
into Money 04. 7 lines or fewer works.

How about a quick patch, somebody???

It's probably been this way for a decade or so. I wouldn't hold my breath
waiting for a "quick patch" if I were you.

Perhaps, but the least they could do is to post the deficiency (or is it a
feature) on the support knowledge base.

There are literally thousands of "features" that are not noted in the
knowledge base.
