What if the DWP (Dhss) have been paying you Mortgage (endowment) since you
bought the house,(25 years) what happens when the Policy matures?, does the
house belong to you ?

The DWP don't pay the endowment premium, they pay part of the mortgage
interest only. So the proceeds of the endowment policy and the property
which it was security for belongs to you, the person who was paying the
insurance premium.
