Quicken 2000 basic registration requests

Have been using Quicken 2000 basic until computer was rebuilt recently. Intuit no longer registers the product, nor will their new customer number (or my old one) satisfy the request for registration.

If I simply ignore the reminder, will Quicken continue to boot up ( only 12 more times remain) or will it lock up and no longer let me use it?

I have no need for downloads or uploads, I simply wish to continue to use the programme.
