I followed the link, and the headline is clearly Q2010 Deluxe, but all
references in overview and tech descriptions refer to Q2009. That makes me
kind of nervous. Has anyone confirmed it really is an offer for 2010?

Free shipping

Ummm, well yes. Considering that it's an electronic download, if there was a
charge for shipping, I don't think people would be real happy...

Part number indicates it's 2009 product.

I have ordered it. The receipt that they have given me (at this point I have
not received download instructions) clearly states Quicken 2010 Deluxe.

BTW - the offer expires on Dec 17th.

It says download Q 2010 deluxe but all verbage is calling it Q 2009. What is
it? That aside, I am considering new pc with W7 and now prefer any programs
I get to be in CD format. Also one by one I am finding out that some
programs I have are not supported in W7. One is Window Washer, another is
Remind. Still waiting to hear from HP regarding some of their printers.
Looks like I keep XP a while longer.

Why are you "waiting to hear from HP"? Just go to the web site and check
your model of printer.

BTW, W7 provides a "Troubleshoot compatibility" option that installed
the software for my old AIO printer....

I have now downloaded it. It is Quicken 2010 Deluxe. They claim that I
will be able to go back to their site forever to redownload if I want. But I
have used my normal process for such downloads.
1) I downloaded it
2) create a CD ( I also included their email on this CD)
3) Installation of the Quicken 2010 Deluxe was completed from the CD That I
have burned. I do have the file on the disk as well and it will make it
into my backup strategy, but Like you I like the piece of plastic.

I can not say anything about other programs that do not run on W7. I have
had problems with HP deciding to orphan printers and scanners by not
updating their drivers.

Congrats. They never sent me any link or charged my card. Oh, well....
Guess 2010 is out and I'll stick with 2009.... :-(

Thanks Art, with your confirmation, I ordered, received, downloaded,
installed, converted, and found a long standing problem with one of my
account's d/l is resolved. Good price, easy thing to do on a snowy morning
here in SE PA.

Thanks too to Hank for original find and post.

Coincidentally, I discovered my client relationship at Vanguard entitled me
to a free copy of TurboTax Deluxe, so I did that d/l and install this
morning too. Anything to postpone shoveling!

You're welcome... I just wish that I had gotten it. I sent in the info,
but never got a response. By the time we had confirmed that it was real
(it's gone now, by the way), it was too late....
