Received CC-801 from One Step Update attempt with Wells-Fargo

This evening, as I attempted a One Step Update, primarily to take a look at
my Portfolio values but I just let it update everything, I got an CC-801
error from Wells Fargo bank.

Specifically: the more info reported:
What happened? During the last online session, Quicken encountered an
online error [CC-801].
What does that mean? To continue to use One Step Update for your account(s)
at Wells Fargo Bank, update to the latest release of >Quicken 2010.
What do I do now? To obtain your free update to Quicken 2010:
On the Quicken toolbar, click the Update button.
Clear all the check boxes and click Update Now.
If an update to Quicken is available, Quicken displays a window that
describes what's in the update, as well as brief instructions for
You'll need to exit Quicken to run the update.
When you exit, all your work is saved, and you can resume working as soon
as the update finishes.

Curiously, the update worked fine this morning, and following the steps
above fixed nothing.

I am running Quicken 2010 Deluxe Release R10

Is this likely a real issue, or should I just let it fester over night and
try again tomorrow?

Thanks

I believe it is a real issue, and I don't think there is anything you can do
to continue your normal downloads until it is fixed.

Intuit just became aware of the problem late yesterday (Wednesday), and they
are digging into it. Initial indications are that there is some problem with
Express Web Connect and Wells Fargo, and Intuit is generating the EWC stuff
so they would have to fix it.

If you are able to download using plain Web Connect, you might want to do
that until the problem gets fixed.

Thanks for the insight John. FWIW, I took the almost perpetual repair
action for down load issues and deactivated followed by reactivation for
each of my W-F accounts and resolved my issue. Maybe coincidence, maybe
kismet, maybe sun spots. But resolved nonetheless.

Regards
