I'm an individual and will be holding an event in Manhattan, NY where attendees will pay. Out of the payments received, event costs will be met. Could you please:
recommend a service that can accept payments plus taxes on my behalf, and remit the same to me and IRS/NY tax dept.
Recommend if the invoice should be in my name or service name?
If invoice is in the service name, when payments are remitted to me less fees and tax, I will include in my income for the year less event expenses, correct? If invoice is in my name, how will it affect me?
Recommend typical fees charged by such service. In which case, it will ne payments, fees plus tax in that order, correct and the tax will be calculated on payment plus fees, correct?
