Recording of Capital Gains of Mutual Fund

I have a mutual fund that paid capital gains. When I went to record the
transaction for that investment I was given the option of reinvesting CG in
the activity field. I have other mutual funds and have no problem with
adding there CG. Any help on this matter would be great.

Assuming this is set up as an investment account, go to the
investment transactions register. Enter a Reinvest L-Term CG Dost
transaction for the mutual fund using the drop-down list. You will
probably have to scroll down the list to see that type.

Did you mean to say "not given the option"? Otherwise, I'm not sure what
your issue is.
