    Is a relocation for a job a dollar for dollar deduction?

    Some relocation expenses, like direct moving expenses, are a
    dollar-for-dollar deduction against your INCOME. That
    doesn't mean that they are a dollar-for-dollar reduction in
    your TAXES. More like 10% to 25% for most people.

    I have no idea what you're asking. See IRS Publication 521
    for an explanation of what's deductible and how you deduct
    it.
