Report Design

Whenever I print one of the reports it always has a pale green background.
This looks nice, but it is a waste of ink. I can't find how to modify the
report layout to ensure a plain white (no ink) background. Thanks.

Hi

I have a couple of follow up questions:

- Are you talking about any report or is it a specific one?
- Are you talking about reports from the report section of the product or
are you talking about things like printing invoices?

Jorn,

I am talking about reports from the report section. It is a stupid waste of
printer ink to have a shaded background when I don't need it.

got it... my guess is that it is printing with the background color in the
report. You can change that color by changing the "Window" color in Windows.

Control Panel\Display\Appearance\Advanced
Under Item pick "Window"
In Color 1 pick white

I realize this is a workaround, let me know if it works for you...

Jorn,

Yes, you were right. I use MS Word quite a bit and I had a soft off-white
window background so I don't have to stare at a stark black and white screen
all day. Apparently this was converting to the pale green that was printing
in my Accounting reports.

This will save ink when I print reports, but I sure won't like looking at a
pure white Word background all day :-(. I suppose I could change it back
and forth though.

Thanks for your help. If that (MS) after your name means that you are
associated with Microsoft then I hope that you are the man that can
eliminate this issue with a future update.
