Today I had the usual email attempting 'Boss out of the Office can you make a payment fraud' The Fraudsters provided two bank accounts for payment:
Name: Mahmood Inc.
Sort code: 110581
Account Nos: 01894716
Account Name: Black contact limited
Bank name: Natwest Bank
Account number: 47223316
Sort Code: 010657
Bank Address: 387 Oxford Road Manchester M3 9PS
I have tried without avail to pass this information to Natwest or Halifax as Natwest don't answer the fraud line and Halifax don't even have a contact number if you are a none customer.
This is at a time when the banks are trying to push the onus for fraud liability onto the customer.
Does anyone have a similar experience of banks pretending to take fraud seriously?
