Resigning after signing off?

Hi,

I am about to begin work through agencies.

My fear is that work wont be as forthcoming as I would like it to be and
that within a short period I will be unemployed again.

I have been informed by a staff member of the Jobcentre that I can do a
'rapid' resign within 8 weeks of signing off. How true is this, and what are
the complications, if any?

It has been my experience that things are not so smooth as the advisor
says.

Is there anything I should be aware of?

Cheers...

....Ray.

What you were told about a "rapid" re-sign is true. How it works in practice I
don't know...

Cheers, Robbie.

I rather hope I don't have to use it.

Ray.

In Usenet post: cglsnf$m88$1@newsg1.svr.pol.co.uk,
RayL droned on and on and on:
Cheers, Robbie.

Make sure you tell your HB office if you want to rapid-reclaim, although the
consequences of not doing so are not as bad as they were prior to April.
