Roll call

Marilyn & Bob

There have been precious few postings in this group since microsoft orphaned
us. (including a lot less spam as well). It would be nice to have an idea
of how many are still lurking here. Could people just respond to this roll
call with a quick post so we can learn who is still around.

Still monitoring, but probably time to put this newsgroup to bed since
regulars like Dick, Cal, Cindy, Bob Peel and others are now regulars in
the Money forum, which is surprisingly active.

"Brent" was taken, so am posting in forums as "Forums suck. Newsgroups
don't. End of story.". Long, but apropos.

Hi...

The group seems to be off of the MS servers, but available on others
so far.

Still here. And still trying to get the NNTP bridge to work on the
other side.

I continue to monitor, but my activity in this NG has been mostly
lurking, with very little posting.

Still following but, for reasons cited previously, suspect this is only an
interim thing.

I'm not sure I agree re. the less spam. Seems like that's most of what I'm
seeing via my Supernews (Earthlink) feed.

LOL... I prefer newsgroups too, but there are a few forums I visit
regularly like AVS and Logitech.

I'll be here as long as someone is carrying it, because I haven't
switched to the Sunset program yet. I've just been learning and saving
info that I might need when I find time to switch. :)
