RRSP/budget issue

Hello,
I started an RRSP account in MS money (2004) to which i will be contributing
monthly. I want this monthly amount to be part of my budget but it's not
showing up. I thought maybe it would show up in the transfers out of budget
section but it's not there either. How can I make it appear there?

Thanks.

How are you telling Money about these contributions? A Transfer component of
a scheduled Paycheck?

No, this is just money from my checking account going into the rrsp account.
I only have two entries. I entered the first one as a withdrawal from my
checking account and the second one as a transfer (in transfer tab) just to
see if it would make a difference. But it doesn't. Neither is showing up.

You say you entered one as a Transfer and the other as a Withdrawal. I'm
inferring you are talking about entries in account registers. I would expect
this to only cause these entries to show up in budget reports, not in the
budget itself. To get things in the budget, you would need to schedule them
or edit them into the budget.

I would expect the Transfer to show up as Transfer Out IF the the
destination account is set in its details as "Out of Budget" (or similar,
can't recall the exact text of the setting).

I wouldn't expect the "withdrawal" transaction in the register to show up as
anything except spending against whatever category you used.
