Run out of Cheque Numbers

I've run out of Cheque serial numbers. I've used so many
that I have gone all the way back round to 000001. Now
when I try and input the info into Money, it highlights
that this info has ben entered previously. Is there a
fix? Can you clear the memory of previous entries?
Does the archive clear this or would I have to archive
off (and rename!) up-to-a particular point then manually
delete the transactions?
If there's a more elegant solution that would be good.
Thanks.

You could clear
Tools->Options->Editing->DisplayAWarningWhenUsingDuplicateChequeNumbers
or however it is worded.

Cal - that looks like a great idea but the facility does not appear on my
copy of Money 2004 !
