Sage Invoices

What's the best way to get custom sage invoices? Does anybody have a
template or a better layout file that I can use. At the moment I am printing
them out on blank A4 sheets and it looks rubbish.

kind regards
Jamie

Sorry about Dave...

I looked into this before, and initially tried to save spool files and parse
them. I made some progress using a plain text printer driver and using a
small program to convert the files to a better looking layout, but it was a
poor solution. I would consider using ODBC to query sage directly, and then
format this to provide a better looking invoice. The reason that I didnt go
any further with the problem is that I gave up using Sage for all my Sales
Order Processing.

There is also some software that you can buy to achieve this, but I can't
remember what it's called. Googling will probably work.

John.

You are allowed an opinion but if you voice it about someone you may
have to justify it in a Court of Law - and why not?

but surely if i think something is expensive, or crap.. it is a personal
choice. i'm not suggesting everyone else should think thus.

else all these "rate this" forums etc should break the law.

a while ago i used to drive a honda prelude, my wife told all who listened
it was crap.. i dont think handa had anything to fear.
there is a difference between an opinion and an accusation

Honda may not think it is worthwhile making a fuss in the
circumstances you describe but if she took out advertisements on TV,
radio and newspapers to express her opinion I would suggest she would
be the subject of legal action.

What I am pleased about is that who-ever used to routinely issue
forged cancels on any post here critical of Sage (presumably someone
working for Sage) appears to be absent.

There is a clear legal difference between voicing/publishing an
opinion and voicing/publishing an unsubstantiated - and baseless -
libel.

Yes! Even when you don't need it!!!!

At PAYE tax year end time, you will get info on their P60 stationery which
cost a fortune.

If you phone the tax office you can get the identical forms (except without
Sage written on them) FREE OF CHARGE!!!!

that conflicts with your thoughts..
no i'm not a troll.

your obviously devoid of the ability to hold a discussion therefore feel the
need for put-downs

I presume you're responding to me..?

If a legal difference approached a common sense it would run a mile..
