It was not a question of not being registered, it was a question of being
newly registered. If you read the thread you will see how it has lead to
this.

Michelle

jack I'd already answered it.

Oh, and lead is a metal ;p

Take care,
Dave

Why?

Correct me if I am wrong but a T9 transaction is not included anywhere on
the VAT form. T9 transactions are not included in input or output values.

Michelle
Just to make it clear - I asked "Why?" and John made the statement
above that.

There would be no VAT but the values would still be included in the
The transactions classed as T9 have no VAT but they still have an
(exempt) input value. This would be included in the total input value,
which goes in box 7 of the return form. It does not affect the VAT
liability. If these are not flagged as reconciled I believe the system
would prompt you with a message that there are unreconciled items prior
to the dates selected in each current return. To exclude altogether
transactions outside the scope of VAT another code, T99(?) would be
required.

He asked for advice here, why would you want a private consultation ?

help,....as in "WILL FORWARD SOME ADVICE ON THE SUBJECT IF YOU WISH".....as
in one of our training manuals!

I think what Dave is getting at is that useness can be a help for many
people so it's best to keep advice on here to be more effective.
Secrecy defeats the object of that.
