Sage payroll help

The previous agents have refused to print P14s, and sent us a back-up of the
Sage payroll. It is multi-company, and we can only access a single-company
set-up, which doesn't allow us to restore.

1. Is this correct? Or have I got corrupt data?
2. Assuming it is correct, is there anyone out there able to help by restoring
and printing the P14s (as a pdf?).
3. Fee for number 2.

TIA

What makes you think it is multi-company? What does Help/Licence say?

Company data is backed up one company at a time. Why do you need more
than one company?

I can't see how if you can't do it how anyone else is going to be able
to do it. Do you have your own copy of the program?

I don't think it's possible to save to pdf - printing hard copies seem
the easiest option.

If you want the last year end done I have already upgraded and it
would be a lot of hassle. Can't you ask Sage?
3. Fee for number 2.
This is the internet - no charge!

I think there may be some confusion that can easily solve your problem
if you explain the problem a bit more.

If you want to phone me I may be able to solve or determine the
problem pretty quickly.

Not to cast aspersions or anything but are you sure you paid their bill
before you got put on stop ?

If you can print to file on a postscript printer driver, you can convert the
resulting file to pdf quite easily (eg ghostscript will do it for you I
think).
