Salary for controller?

I am hoping someone can ball-park the expected salary for a controller
position.

Here are the specifics:
This is a newly-established division of a large ($100 billion annual sales)
U.S. corporation. There are about 60 employees there, but it is expected to
grow to about 120 over the next 5 years.
Annual revenues from this division are estimated at $100 million per year.
The plant is a modern manufacturing facility utilizing robotics and such.
Not the typical dirty floor atmosphere that many manufacturers are
associated with.

The controller is the top financial position in this division and would
report to the general manager of the division. Requirements are at least 5
years in a leading financial role in a company. Bachelor's degree required,
master's degree or CPA helpful.

Please give me your best guess for a possible salary for this position.
Salary.com lists controllers as earning between $139 and $207k/year, but
obviously the size, industry, credentials, years of experience, etc. can all
dramatically affect this #.

In the south, you could fill that position for under $100K. Detroit probably
has higher COL, so I am guessing low 6 digits salary with some good fringe
benefits (profit sharing, 401K, bonuses, health and dental, etc)

That's a shame. Many good people would not take a job in Detroit at any
price.
