Schema not found for selected template

I have downloaded a template from Microsoft web site for an invoice i would
like to use. I have made the changes to the template and saved it as a word
document. When I select template in the print function and try to use this
as my default template I get the error "Schema not found for selected
Template" What am I doing wrong?

If the template is an MOA template - look into Templates and Add-Ins under
the XML schema tab.
You can compare with what you see for a regular MOA template that you can
find under AllUsers\Templates.
Each MOA template is associated with a schema which you can see displayed in
the right-side pane in Word. This allows the application to fill in data for
appropriate schema elements.
