Sending money abroad

I wonder what is the cheapest way to send various amounts of money to
a foreign bank account (Czech republic), say £500, £1000,£5000
and £10 000. My bank, A&L would do a banker's draft for £15 for any
amount. Can I get a better deal?

Thanks

Probably not. Lloyds TSB do an "economy rate" transfer for £5.50. However,
this is only to certain countries on their list, and I doubt CR will be one
of them, as all the countries on their list seemed to be Euro zone. Poland
wasnt. It cost me £13 this side and the other side charged me £5 as well, as
an extra nice surprise, especially as I was told the foreign bank wouldn't
charge. Oh yeah, and I think you have to be an account holder too.
