Share Price Downloads (again)

Hi. I've been running MS Money for many years having transferred from
Quicken. I am currently running v12 (2004) which is great except for the
price download which drives me crazy:
I have two separate accounts and one of them downloads like a dream (about
17 different prices) but the other is very inconsistent, failing to download
about 4 times in 5 (the download summary shows an unchanged successful call
date for prices but may at the same time have the current date for Money
updates). Today I have updated the first account with no problems and it
shows price dates of 7 Sept for most unit trusts and 11 Sept for equity
shares. The other failed to update four times and on the fifth attempt the
download summary showed that it had updated prices today but the price dates
are still 31st August or 1st September which is what I had before!
Has anyone had this problem or have any idea what the problem is?
Regards

I suspect that what you are calling an account, I would call a file.

Money 2004 was particularly sensitive to bad/changed symbols.
Configure in the Portfolio column that identifies when the price was
last updated. Sort by that column. Note any securities that have not
updated lately. If you can correct the symbol, do so. Otherwise
blank the symbol for the ones that are not updating anyway. The hope
is that makes the rest of the downloaded prices work.

Thanks Cal. I deselected a couple of stocks that hadn't updated for a long
time and ran the automatic pricing - and it worked first time! However, it
occasionally did that anyway, so I'll wait and see what happens over the next
week or two. (If you call a file a discrete pool of assets/liabilities which
are completely seggregated, yes I have two of those)
