USA Shareholder Distributions

I have an S Corp and Shareholder Distributions. Do those shareholder distribution get zeroed out into retained earnings every year?

You can. Or you can leave them in that account and keep a running total of how much was paid in distributions over the years. Up to you because the account is already an element of overall Equity.
