Sharing Windows and iMac Quicken account files

I have both a Windows XP and an iMac, each with Quicken installed. I
am able to network and share disks between the two. Is it possible to
access one set of Quicken files from both systems? It does not have
to be simultaneous access. I would prefer not to export/import
between the 2 systems.

Thanks

I'm guessing not. but which Quicken are you using on the Mac with which
Mac operating system? and Which Quicken on the XP.

I don't see any way to do it besides an export and import since the
underlying files are so different. And that process looks complicated
enough, from the Quicken web site. In other words, they are actually two
completely different programs.

Right now the Windows version is 2001 and the Mac version is 2002, the
one that came with the iMac. But, ugrading either or both would not
be a problem is this resolved the issue.

No. The functionality of the Win and Mac versions is different. Win won't
open Mac Quicken files and Mac won't open Win Quicken files
