USA Small Business Windows Standalone software

Looking for a simple stand-alone accounting software for our small business, not cloud based with monthly charge.
We'll retire in a couple of years so want reasonable cost.
Previously used Quickbooks 2009 but it won't transfer to my new computer.
We are a 2 person service and retail business.
Everything I find is cloud based or expensive.
Any suggestions?

Thanks so much for the info. I'm not set on Free...just reasonable in our situation. I've looked into some you've mentioned and will check out others. We do not do payroll or piece by piece inventory - not feasible in a Glass & Glazing business. Mostly I do not want a cloud based program I want all of my files on my computer- that’s the thing I was having difficulty finding. Thanks for all of the information. You've been helpful.
