Sole Proprietor Setup Question

I am setting up my business as a Sole Proprietor Consulting Service in
Accounting 2008 Pro. Do I need to set myself up as an employee for billing to
my customers?

The employee account helps to track who did what work and also allows
recording payroll transactions. If you don't have any employees other than
yourself, there's probably no point adding yourself to the employee list.

Normally, Sole proprietors do not draw a salary from the business. If in
doubt you should consult an attorney.
