Sub of Multiple Accounts

I would like to be able to make a single account a sub account of multiple
accounts. I would also like to be able to mix the account types between sub
and master. For instance, I run a theatre company and I would like to have a
master account for each individual production that we do. Under that master
account (an income account) I would like to have concessions, donations and
ticket purchases (all income) and also set construction, lighting purchase,
makeup equipment, sound equipment, etc (all expenses). However, in addition
to having a one-place-to-look-at for net income/loss for the show in the show
master account, I would also like for those accounts to point toward a
year-at-a-glance master account for each so, for instance, I know how much
I've made on ticket sales for the year. Is there a way to do either of these
things (mix account types or multiple master accounts for a single sub
account)? Thanks.

Allen, I started a post on the 27th regarding the same issue. So far, it
doesn't appear that we have the ability to add sub-accounts to bank accounts.
If you set up the account as any other kind, i.e. cash account (except
credit card), you can add all the sub-accounts you want, but you can't
reconcile them like a bank account.

You might want to refer to page 2 of these posts and find the one titled
"sub-accounts"

I'm not trying to make sub's for bank accounts...i want to mix the types of
accounts (i.e. make an expense a sub of an income or vice versa) and link a
single account to multiple parent accounts. Thanks for the info.
