Take control of your MP!

Coming soon - "The Movement for Democratic Change," a people power movement
to hold your representatives to account.

We have registered the domain:-

www.movementfordemocraticchange.org.uk

with the intention of developing a non-party political campaign to clean-up
parliament.

A website is under development, but initial plans are to:-

a) Develop a code of conduct on expenses that all potential candidates at
the next general election will be asked to sign-up to.

b) Provide template letters for people to download to send to candidates or
sitting MPs, particularly those who have not yet signed up.

c) Provide direction to the House of Commons on what new rules on expenses
we will allow. It is absolutely incredible for people who have so clearly
been on the make to think they should still decide the new expenses system.

d) Possibly stand candidates against people who seem particularly unwilling
to recognise their responsibilities. At the moment that would only extend to
the Speaker, but he may well withdraw without that becoming necessary.

Thoughts, good wishes, offers of support or concerns can all be posted here
or sent by email to the return address.

Thanks for your interest.

James, on behalf of The Movement for Democratic Change.
