Not for 2007 tax returns.

To learn about the home buyer tax credit

ONLY FOR HOMES BOUGHT BETWEEN
APRIL 9th, 2008 AND JULY 1st, 2009

go here: http://www.federalhousingtaxcredit.com/

There are restrictions, exceptions, exemptions, and exclusions, including a
payback over 15 years, so pay attention to the details.

"April 9th"? Anyone suspect that some Congresscritters son-in-law bought a
house on the 10th?

The (up to) 20% Mortgage Credit Certificate program is a
good deal for first time home buyers who qualify based on
income and location.
