How should the payment made to a personal guarantor for a business line of credit or loan be reported on the business corporate tax return? What is the taxability for this one time payment for risking their credit for a business and what form should this payment be reported on to the IRS? The investor(guarantor) has no ownership interest the business, etc. however they are compensated for signing as a guarantor.
