UK - Corporation Tax

Hi,

I've got MS Accounting 2008 here in the UK.

I'm wondering if somebody can tell me the accounts I should use for
acknowledging the Corporation Tax Liability and Corporation tax
payments (once made). There appears to be no nominal accounts that
match this.

Thanks in advance.

You might try posting to microsoft.public.uk.moa the uk specific user group.

Usually if a Ltd company is set up an accounting app uses a specific chart
of accounts.
The Corp tax due being a journal entry between Expenses, Corp Tax &
Creditors, Corp tax
When the payment is made its posted from Bank a/c to Creditors, Corp Tax,
thereby cancelling out the liability, assuming you paid it all :)

I believe only Accounting Pro contains multiple Charts of Accounts that can
be used
