Probably not. You are better off googling for the various accounting
firms and discussion groups who have summarised the rules.

Troy,

Is it that, like me you find the site difficult to naivigate, or the
info just isn't there?!

It used to be fantastic. Just as they got it working perfectly IR
merged with HMC and it became a shambles.

So long as you give sufficient info and a complete background you'll
get a correct answer here, and haven't you already done that?

HMRC are a total shambles, not just their website.

Troy,

I guess I was looking for the comfort of seeing the info in government
black and white!

Having said that when I do find info on that site it is surrounded by
so many qualifications that the meaning tends to disappear!

Cheers

Another stupid thing is how they don't date the pages. They also leave
up a lot of old pages that are out of date.

If you guys think the Internet version is crap, you should see the Intranet
version. Just like the external version, the pre merger version was user
friendly and fairly up to date.

Since the merger, nothing is where it used to be and the system is littered
with OAD rubbish. I cant even access up to date legislation.
